Using your Event Log
You'll be spending most of your time working in a specific event log. You'll be able to see all your events, alerts and bookmarks for a specific log.

Get Familiar
We call the primary page for viewing your event log the Workspace. The workspace is divided into areas identified by the tabs at the top of the page. Read more below to see more details about each area in the workspace.

Navigation Tool Bar
On the right side of the workspace toolbar you'll see a couple button and a dropdown menu. This toolbar let's you navigate through the Loggr website. The Gear button shows settings for the current log. The Tile button takes you back to your dashboard. The Jump menu can take you to other logs or other parts of the website.

Search Bar
Click the magnifying glass to open the search panel and select criteria. Search criteria will be accumulated on the Search Bar and the events will be filtered in ALL views. You can click a criteria on the Search Bar to clear it from the current search.

Keep in mind that the current search criteria and date range applies to every tab in your workspace.

Date Range Selector
You can change the range of dates for the events that are displayed in all views of your workspace. This dropdown has some presets, or you can choose custom dates.

Saved Searches
If you find yourself setting up the same search criteria a lot, save them. Click the down-arrow next to the list of search crtieria on the Search Bar. Your list of saved searches will appear on the left side of the workspace.

Alerts and Bookmarks
The Alerts and Bookmarks tabs enable you to see different views of your events.
BookmarksWhen you bookmark an event from within the workspace (or on a Loggr mobile app) they will appear here. A simple click on the Bookmark button will remove them. Keep in mind that the Bookmark tab does reflect any search criteria or date range you have selected.
AlertsIf you setup an
Event Class to trigger an alert, the alerts will show up under the Alerts tab. Clicking the Delete button will only remove the alert, not the event that triggered it. Keep in mind that the Bookmark tab does reflect any search criteria or date range you have selected.

Log Settings
Click the gear icon on the workspace toolbar to view your
Log Settings. Log admins will see all settings, while a normal log user will only be able to set Event Options.
